razor clams
« on: November 07, 2014, 11:06:57 AM »
Has anyone been digging twin harbors this year? I have been out a few times and the clams are very small this year. I have started being picky about the holes I am digging and still pulling out dinks. Last year it seemed they were all large. Just wondering what every one else is seeing.

I quit digging there a long time ago just because of the average size.

I am going to hit a different spot next time. I am going to go a mile north of were I have been digging and give that a whirl.

It's all location.  Last year we had the same problem.  Moved north a mile or less and they were jumbos.
